Walking Meditation

The lovely thing about some self-care is that it requires no money, no designer clothing, no ipod, no nuthin.

After a time of taking on others’ problems, worries and crises, it is nice to melt into the environment, watch the butterflies in the park, smell the cool spring breeze and remember, I am alive

The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough. ~Rabindranath Tagore

This takes practice and is easier to do when you’re happy and content and much more a challenge when you’re agitated and tired.

For me, I know it is also at that moment of exhaustion that a meditation is important.

If you’re unfamiliar with the practice, check this out: walking meditation

I’m sharing these zen cards with you because I am in need of positivity and I’m sure it couldn’t hurt you either dear readers 🙂

It’s been a rough week for me in a few ways and for self-care, I need to read these too.
